Dr. Nwadozi Clement Chukwuka JP FCA FCNA FCTI
Dr. Nwadozi Clement Chukwuka hails from Ukala, in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration from the University of Newcastle, Australia, a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State and a Higher National Diploma (Distinction) in Accountancy from the Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Member of the Hong Kong Computer Society, Affiliate Member of the Nigeria Computer Society, Member of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada and Member of the Project Management Institute (International).
On graduation from school in 1982, Dr. Nwadozi was called up for the National Youth Service and served in Vandekya and Idah in the old Benue State. On completion of the National Youth Service, he was employed into the Federal Civil Service on Grade Level 08 with effect from 13 September, 1983 and was posted to the Department of Finance and Accounts in the then Ministry of External Affairs (now Foreign Affairs). While in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he served as the Finance Attaché in the Embassy of Nigeria, Cotonou, Republic of Benin from 1987 to 1990, Embassy of Nigeria, Havana, Republic of Cuba from 1993 to 1998 and the Consulate General of Nigeria, Hong Kong from 2003 to 2006. He was redeployed to the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation in 2006 and headed the Federal Pay Office II, Lagos from 2007 to 2014. He was posted in September, 2014 as a Deputy Director (Accounts) to the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology where he became the pioneer head of a newly created Public Private Partnership (PPP) Unit in 2016. He was promoted Director Finance and Accounts with effect from first January, 2017.
His outstanding credentials and character, won him the LEADS Africa Merit Award of Excellence as the Africa’s Patriotic Personality of the Year, 2017 given by the League of African Development Students (LEADS). He is happily married to Mrs Catherine Ngozi Nwadozi and they are blessed with children.
