Mrs. BEN-OYOBOLO, ABBA CHRISTINA
Mrs. Ben-Oyobolo was born on 20th March, 1960 to the family of Late Emmanuel and Grace Abba of Ondo-Ugbokolo in Okpokwu LGA of Benue State.
She attended St. John’s Primary School, Gold and Base Jos – Plateau State and Secondary Education at King’s Comprehensive College Mkar, Benue State.
She worked briefly after her Secondary education with the Nigeria Television Authority Bauchi before proceeding to Kaduna Polytechnics and the Federal polytechnics Bauchi for her A level studies.
The One (1) year mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) scheme was at Jos and with, the then Bank of Credit and Commerce International ( BCCI ) and upon completion, through divine intervention of God, Mrs. Ben was employed by the Federal Civil Service Commission and posted to Ministry of Foreign Affairs as HEO (Accts).
She worked at MFA for 13years (1993-2006) and worked at different sections.
She also served as Financial Attaché at the Nigerian Foreign missions in Cameroon, namely
* Consulate General of Nigeria, Buea, Cameroon,
* Consulate General of Nigeria, Douala, Cameroun
Following the Pooling of Accountants in MFA to OAGF, she got posted to the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology in 2007 till date. She bagged a Presidential Epic Merit Award of Excellence organized by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation in February, 2019.
Mrs. Ben is a member of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria and Charted Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
She is a Christian, An ordained Deaconess with the Living Faith Church worldwide and married to Retired Air. Commodore, Benedict Oyobolo (Air force Pilot) and a Mother to many children and grandchildren.
